Welcome to Leatherland Photography, a premier photography studio located in the heart of Lincolnshire. Our studio combines technical expertise with a warm, personalised approach, ensuring that each session is enjoyable and tailored to your needs. We’re here to bring your moments to life in every frame using our comfortable studio.

Virtual studio Tour

As you drive to the pin drop location you will see double garage doors. There are 2 parking bays marked “Bay 1” and “Bay 2”. Please park within the bays. 

Once you’ve parked in a designated bay, you will see a wooden gate. Go through the gate, and to your right you will see the Leatherland Photography Studio.

Yes, we have toilet facilities. We also have a potty and a changing mat for younger children and babies.

Yes! Our studio has a designated changing room to offer privacy for those sessions that require an outfit change.

We have a prep machine in the studio. We also have access to boiling water. We have a spare bottle (MAM) if required, along with pre-made formula cartons.

Parking at Leatherland Photography is convenient and hassle-free. We offer on-site parking with spaces available directly in front of our studio for easy access.

Once you arrive for your session park in one of the two marked bays. Go through the gate on the left hand side. To the right is the studio. Please knock and wait to be let in. 

For any specific accessibility needs, please let us know in advance so we can make your visit as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

Our Top Tips

  • Research Location before session day
  • Make sure to ask any questions BEFORE the day of your session - You may not get a response on your session day
  • Make sure children are well rested and well fed before their session. Tired and hungry children are often less cooperative.
  • Make sure you've read up on all our policies and information so you feel prepared
  • Allow plenty of travelling time. Road works, accidents and tractors are common occurrences.
  • Ensure hair and make up is completed before arriving.

Special Features

Homely Environment

Many photography studios are designed with bright walls and blinding lights, giving an uneasy and clinical feel. This can feel very overwhelming. At Leatherland photography we have carefully selected our colour choice to both optimise the reflection of light, and offer a cosy and homely feel to the studio, allowing you to feel relaxed. 

Private Changing area

Many of our sessions require outfit changes. Our studio has a built in changing room allowing for a private changing area when visiting. 

This also doubles as a safe and private space for those newly post partum mothers who'd like a little extra privacy in those early days establishing breastfeeding/expressing. 

The changing room is equipped with a mirror and plug sockets allowing for hair and make up touch ups, and an outlet for electric break pumps in the private space. 

A satin robe is also available for clients to feel less exposed during set changes in boudoir and maternity sessions. 

Sensory environment

The studio is designed to be a safe and sensory rich environment for young children and those with additional needs. Some of these features include: 

  • Lockable doors with out of reach keys
  • gentle and adjustable lighting for sensitive eyes
  • sensory basket to keep restless hands occupied

Newborn essentials

The studio is equipped with all newborn essentials to ease the pressure from new parents. 

  • Nappy changing facilities and supplies 
  • New dummies 
  • Bottle making facilities including prep machine, kettle, fridge and even pre-made infant formula.

Small business lean on other small local businesses for support. We have many local business in which we love to support, including those who helped build the studio, and those we work in partnerships with. Our studio features a notice board displaying the business cards and leaflets of many local business to help businesses connect with clients, and to help our customers explore trades and services they may require.

Photoshoots can be overwhelming, particularly as a new parent. Newborn sessions take several hours so we want you to be as comfortable as possible, and enjoy this opportunity to relax. We have carefully thought out the are and experience to give you the very best. This is why we offer: 

  • comfortable, but firm seating- ideal for postpartum mothers.
  • Complementary hot drink from our extensive and luxury drinks menu.
