1. How long until I can view my photos?

Photos are typically ready to view within 6 weeks of your session. Choosing the express fee reduces this time to 3-5 working days.

2. How will I view my photos?

You will be contacted when your photos are ready.Full Sessions: Viewings can be in person or via a secure Zoom screen share, allowing you to see your images in high resolution and discuss any desired changes. Mini Sessions: Depending on your package, lower packages include photographer-selected images, while higher packages provide access to an online viewing gallery with unedited, watermarked images for selection.

3. How long do I have to collect my photos?

Photos must be collected within 10 working days from when they are made available. Collection is weekdays from 4pm. The photographer reserves the right to dispose of images after this period. If you will not be able to collect within this timeframe we recommend using the express fee and having prints or products shipped directly from the manufacturer  to your home address. You may be charged for late collection

4. Can you accommodate adults/children with additional needs?

Yes, we are committed to inclusivity. Our photographer is SEN-trained and provides a safe, non-judgemental environment. A pre-session consultation helps us understand and accommodate specific needs.

5. Can you post my photos to me?

The only way to have prints or products posted to your home address is by purchasing the express fee. With this prints and products will be sent directly from the manufacturer to your home address. 

6. Will you share my images online?

Images may be used for promotional purposes, including social media and marketing. If you prefer not to have your images used this way, notify us in writing at the time of booking. A £10 fee applies to remove images that have already been posted, if you have given consent.

7. How does a payment plan work?

Payment plans are flexible and customised to suit your budget. There are no minimum monthly payments or maximum term limits. Images will only be released once the balance is paid in full.

8. Can I book a weekend session?

Yes, evening and weekend sessions are available with a £25 out-of-hours charge.

9. Can I reschedule my session?

Yes, sessions can be rescheduled with a minimum of 4 full days’ notice. A £15 fee applies if rescheduling within 14 days. Rescheduling may require a new deposit.

10. Do you offer gift vouchers?

Yes, gift vouchers are available for any occasion and can be paid in full or through a payment plan. Please contact us for more details.

11. What happens if I arrive late to my session?

A 5-minute grace period is allowed. Arriving more than 5 minutes late may result in session cancellation without a refund, or any lost time will be deducted from your session.

12. What should I bring to the session?

Please bring any specified clothing, supplies, and other items suggested for your session, including underwear. The photographer reserves the right to refuse the session if you are unprepared, and no refund will be provided.

13. Can I bring additional guests or pets to the session?

Additional guests and pets are generally not permitted unless agreed upon in advance. For boudoir sessions, attendees must be over 18. Children should only be present for their photos and are then asked to leave to avoid distractions.

14. What if I need to cancel my session?

A £30 cancellation fee applies if you cancel after securing the session. A £15 fee applies if rescheduling within 14 days of the session date. Cancellations within 72 hours will require a new deposit.

15. How does the express fee work?

The express fee of £35 reduces post-production time from 6 weeks to 3-5 working days and includes priority service for prints and wall art. Orders will be posted to your home address free of charge; large wall art may incur additional shipping costs.

16. What if the photographer cannot perform the session?

If illness or emergencies prevent the photographer from performing the session, every effort will be made to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, a partial refund of the retainer may be offered.

17. What is your policy on image storage?

Images are stored for 60 days from the date proofs are available. After this period, they will be deleted from all storage devices. It is your responsibility to ensure you collect your images within this time frame.

18. Can I make additional requests or edits to my images?

Additional requests for specific images, or poses, should be made at the time of booking. Edits can be discussed during your viewing. Requests made after the session may be accommodated at the photographer’s discretion and may incur additional fees.

19. What if I need to change the session location?

Changes to the session location must be communicated at least 4 full days in advance. If no alternatives are possible, the session must proceed as scheduled or be cancelled under the cancellation policy.

20. What are the rules regarding copyright and image usage?

The photographer retains copyright and exclusive rights to all images. Images are for personal use only and should not be reproduced or used commercially without permission. Any attempt to copy or remove watermarks from images is prohibited. It is also an offence to make any changes to the images- this includes adding filters or converting to black and white. 

21. How is my personal data handled?

Your personal data is stored and used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018. It will not be shared with third parties and will be used solely within the business relationship with Leatherland Photography.

22. What if I do not agree to some of the terms and conditions?

The terms and conditions are outlined to protect both the business and customers. If you do not agree to some or all of the terms and conditions or policies then we recommend you find an alternative photographer who better suits your needs.

23. Anything Else I should know?

Always ensure you are prepared for your session and you have asked any questions before your session date. it is highly likely the photographer will not be contactable on session days. 

1. Where do I park?

As you arrive at the pin drop location, you will see double garage doors with two bays marked "Bay 1" and "Bay 2". Please park respectfully. 

2. Where Do I find the studio?

Once parked, go through the wooden gate. Through the gate, to your right you will see the Leatherland Photography studio. Knock and wait to be let in. 

3. If I get lost can I call you?

We recommend to research and be aware of the location before your session date. This is because it is unlikely you will get a response on session day. This is because the signal in the studio is quite poor. Also, the photographer may be busy with other customers, and each customer has the right to an uninterrupted session. 

 

1. How long will it take for me to view my photos after my session

With express service: Your images will be ready for your viewing and ordering appointment 3-5 working days after your session 

 

Without express service: Your images will be ready for your viewing and ordering appointment 6 weeks  after your session 

2. How long does it take for me to get my digitals once I've paid in full?

With the express service: 2-4 working days 

 

Without the express service: 5-7 working days 

3. How long does it take for my prints to arrive?

With express service: Once payment has been made in full, orders will be placed within 2-3 working days. Orders are then placed with a rush order and express shipping and take approx 14 days to arrive. 

 

Without express service: Standard printing orders are placed once per month, so your order will be placed within 31 days of your payment. Orders then take unto 21 days to arrive. 

1. How long do I have to collect my photos?

You have 10 working days to collect your images from the date you were notified 

2. What times can I collect?

Prints and products can be collected in the evenings from 4pm. Please get in touch to notify us when you're intending to collect so we can ensure that we are available for the handover.

3. Can I collect on a weekend?

Collections are weekdays only

4. I'm not sure I'd be able to collect, what should I do?

We recommend you opt for the express service if you may be unable to collect your images within the specified time frame.

At both your session and your ordering appointment you will be offered the opportunity to purchase the express service. Among other things, this includes the option to have prints and products shipped directly to your home address from the manufacturer.

5. I missed my collection date, what happens now?

If you missed your collection date your images may have been disposed of. If this is the case you will be charged a reprint fee of £10. 

 

6. Can you post my photos to me?

The only way to have prints or products posted to your home address is by purchasing the express service. With this, prints and products will be sent directly from the manufacturer to your home address. You will be offered this at the time of your session, and again at your ordering appointment. 

1. Do I need to do my own hair and makeup for the session?

Yes, please ensure hair and makeup are completed before arrival if you choose to do so.

2. What clothing is provided for the session?

For females, clothing is provided by the photographer. Males are required to wear smart trousers and a neutral button-up shirt. Clothing is not provided for boudoir sessions. Everything needed for a newborn session is provided.

3. Can I bring my own outfits or props?

Additional requests, such as specific outfits, props, or poses, should be made at the time of booking. The photographer may not accommodate requests made after booking.

1. How far in advance should I book my session?

Ideally, sessions should be booked 6-8 weeks in advance. Newborn sessions should be scheduled before the baby’s arrival, with the session taking place 5-21 days after birth.

2. What happens if I need to change the date or location of my session?

Changes must be communicated at least 4 days in advance. If no alternative dates are available, the client must attend the scheduled session or waive their right to a refund.

3. What is the cancellation policy?

1. Is the retainer fee refundable?

No, the retainer is non-refundable and secures your booking. Failure to sign the agreement or meet the terms will forfeit the retainer.

2. Can I set up a payment plan for my session or images?

Yes, payment plans are available for additional orders with no interest charged. Images will only be released once the balance is paid in full.

3. Will I get a refund if I don’t like the images?

No refunds are given if images are not to your taste. It is advised to research the photographer’s style before booking.

4. How does the refer a friend scheme work?

If you love what we do here and you enjoyed your experience, then tell your friends to come and book with us! When a friend books a session you’ll receive £10 credit. Don’t worry there’s no expiry date for this. Your friend will also get a 10% discount off their session.

5. What discounts do you offer?

At Leatherland photography we offer various discounts. We offer blue light discount, refer a friend discount, plus 10% discount to members of Phoenix Fitness Skegness. On top of this we also run a loyalty scheme. Please not discounts cannot be used in conjunction. 

1. How will I view my images?

A viewing session will be scheduled once the images are ready. Viewings are hosted on Zoom and typically occur from 7 pm onwards. Viewings can also be done in person.

2. Can I take my own photos or videos during the session?

No, taking photos or videos during the session is not permitted. Breaching this rule may result in immediate session termination with no refund.

3. What if I want changes made to the photos after viewing?

Any additional edits requested after the viewing session will incur a £5 fee per image. Alterations must be requested during the initial viewing.

1. When should I book a newborn session?

It is best to book your newborn session between 20-35 weeks of pregnancy. Waiting until your baby is born may result in extremely limited, or no availability at such short notice

2. How should I prepare for a boudoir session?

For hygiene reasons, boudoir sessions do not include clothing, so please bring your outfits. Only those over 18 may attend these sessions, and additional guests are discouraged unless participating.

3. How can I book a newborn session when I don't know when baby will be born?

We understand that babies have their own timelines when it comes to their grand arrival. This is why when you book your session we use your estimated due date to mark you on the calendar. Once baby is born either yourself, or a loved one, can contact us and let us know baby is here safely. After baby's arrival we can get a final date scheduled for your session

4. When will my newborn session take place?

New born sessions take place when your baby is between 5-21 days old.

5. What time will my newborn session be?

All newborn sessions start between 9am and 10am. This will be confirmed with you when you book

6. Do you provide lingerie for boudoir sessions?

For hygiene reasons lingerie sets are not provided for boudoir sessions. If you book the luxury boudoir experience then you will be gifted a set of lingerie that you can use for your session and keep. 

7. Is it true you provide all the luxury dresses and outfits?

That is 100% true! We even have a selection of dresses for your little girls!

8. Do you provide clothing for boys and men?

No. Men and boys are to wear smart black jeans or trousers and either a plain black t-shirt or a button up shirt. Shirt colours will be specified in your session description. As these items are things most people have in their wardrobe we don't provide these, and focus on providing the luxury outfits. 

1. Are model call sessions free?

Yes. A £10 deposit will be required to secure your session, however that will be refunded after the session or deducted from extra purchases so your session will still be free

2. Do I have to buy extra pictures?

There is no expectation or obligation to buy any extra pictures

3. Do I have to agree to content usage for all photos, or can I agree to just some?

For a model call you must agree to all content usage, this includes all photos and videos taken from the session. If you may be uncomfortable with some or all of your images or videos being used online then please choose a regular paid session. 

4. I've paid my deposit. Are there any other fees I need to pay?

No!  This is a free session, and your deposit can be returned to you after your session (subject to Ts&Cs), and there is no obligation to buy extra images. 

5. What if I need to cancel my session?

Model call sessions are subject tot he same cancellation policy as regular sessions. You may be offered the opportunity to book a regular session if you still wish to have your photos taken. 

6. What are pre selected photos?

Preselected images is a budget friendly option given to model calls. Preselected photos are picked by the photographer and sent to you as a digital file for a reduced cost. These images are selected based on those that have the highest technical accuracy, and the ones that reflect the portfolio requirements.

The cost is reduced because it reduces editing time, and because we cannot guarantee the the images given will be what you'd like. 

 

If you would like to have the flexibility to choose your own images we recommend opting for a viewing appointment where images will be the usual price, but with a 10% model discount.
